Digital Analyst

Salary: £38,000 DOE

We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Analyst to join the Analytics team. The successful candidate will have  a strong analytical background and an interest in digital marketing..

You will strive to understand our clients’ business needs and the role analytics play in generating successful results. You will work closely with the wider company (SEO, PR, Social etc.) in developing coordinated strategies, setting out targets against business objectives to drive maximum growth.

By providing our clients with valuable insights, you will be helping them to understand and optimise the performance of their website and campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to develop quickly and gain a holistic understanding of the digital marketing space.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Generate Key Insights: Analyze user behavior across various digital platforms to uncover actionable insights that inform marketing strategies and enhance user experience.
  • Campaign Performance Analysis: Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of client campaigns, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain Reporting Infrastructure: Develop and maintain client reporting infrastructure and dashboards to ensure accurate and timely access to critical performance metrics.
  • Bespoke Analysis Requests and Projects: Conduct custom analysis projects as requested by clients, delivering tailored insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Utilize GA4: Leverage Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track and analyze client customer behavior, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
  • Setup Tracking: Implement tracking solutions such as Google Tag Manager (GTM) to monitor key client customer interactions and behavior metrics.

Skills & Experience

  • Have a demonstrable analytical and commercial mindset
  • GA4 and GTM Experience: Proficient in using GA4 and GTM for analyzing customer behavior.
  • SQL Proficiency: Experience with SQL for querying and managing data from various databases.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Competency in at least one data visualization tool such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau to create compelling and informative dashboards.
  • Excel Mastery: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Programming Skills: Familiarity with a programming language such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Organized and Strong Work Ethic: Highly organized with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
