So here we are at the beginning of a new decade, the roaring twenties, and we hope it brings prosperity to all friends of Semetrical. As we begin 2020, we decided to take the time to reflect on our 2019, and share with you why we feel it’s been our best year so far.
In November 2019, we had an evening to remember as Semetrical collected the prestigious award for Best Small SEO Agency 2019.
Having been nominated in five categories of the annual UK Search Awards, we were delighted to join the celebrations and be recognised for our work.
Semetrical won the prestigious award of Best Use of Search in B2B at the EU Search Awards 2019 with our campaign for Arkadin.
We were commended for our SEO research and international market audits, long-term SEO strategy definition, a 38+ websites migration and ongoing content & digital PR campaign success.
In 2019, we hired a number of new talented employees at Semetrical which meant that we grew from 25 to 30+ employees.
Semetrical have hired and trained a collective 20-25 graduates across all departments now, and this has contributed significantly to the agency’s growth.
Our talented staff have been nurtured to numerous internal promotions, too. This has been anchored in our new training program where we aspire to help our staff actively progress their career ambitions.
We recently worked with GiveAGradAGo to develop a case study of our partnership to date.
Our client portfolio spans a wide range of different industries, but our methodology for developing digital strategies is tried and tested for delivering long-term success.
We had another successful year in achieving great campaign results, which helped our clients to acquire more relevant traffic, generate increased revenues and understand more about their online audiences.
Our excellent campaign results were recognised in 2019:
Semetrical were nominated for ‘Agency of the Future Awards’, due to our commitment towards talent development for graduates.
A large number of our graduates have progressed to management and senior positions at the agency, and continue to drive exceptional results for our clients.
It’s a truly exciting time to be at Semetrical.
Semetrical were nominated for Best Small PPC Agency at both the EU & UK Search Awards 2019.
We were commended for our unique approach, development of bespoke PPC technology and the great campaign results we’ve achieved for our clients.
Rory shared a wide range of actionable SEO insights and frameworks to implement in 2019 during his seminar to an audience of 70+ at the B2B Marketing Expo.
His seminar talk discussed the core components of developing a successful B2B SEO strategy that increases lead generation and revenue.
2019 was also a year of transition for Semetrical, as we left our offices in Spitalfields and moved to Monument.
It was important for us to remain close to the City of London as we aim to be in a position to travel with relative ease to see our clients face to face whenever possible.
Our new offices come fully equipped with a fantastic rooftop offering views over the Thames, Tower Bridge and St. Pauls.
We had more to celebrate in 2019 as Tom had his first child, Teddy. It’s been a pleasure for everyone at Semetrical to share the stories of Tom’s voyage into parenthood.
Ben also got married in September 2019 in what was an incredible day for all those involved. We all wish Ben and his wife Rachel all the best moving into 2020, and their first year of marriage.
Ben and Rory started at Semetrical in 2014 and have hired, provided training and now manage a collective 20 employees for Semetrical within the SEO and Inbound Marketing departments. They have both contributed significantly to the agency’s rapid growth.
Ben and Rory were the account leads for the 2 campaign awards the agency have picked up over the years; including Best PPC Campaign at the EU Search Awards 2017, and the Best Use of Search in B2B at the EU Search Awards 2019.
Their efforts over the past five and a half years have helped Semetrical to be awarded Best Small SEO Agency at the EU Search Awards 2017, and Best Small SEO Agency at the UK Search Awards 2019.
Dom was nominated for Young Search Professional of the Year at the EU Search Awards 2019. His story here at Semetrical shows what hard work and talent can achieve in a short space of time.
Dom joined us straight out of school at 17, and he became a senior member of the company within 2 years. He contributed to Semetrical’s data driven approach to content production, creating our CRO service offering and uses data to define strategy improvements across a wide range of SEO & PPC campaigns.
